Vermont Wild Harvest

My name is Steven Van Zandt, I started picking wild mushrooms in the mid 1980's with my father. I have been in Vermont since 2004 and have gained a decent amount of knowledge about the forests and wild crafting in the state. I have been selling to many local restaurants and small grocery stores as well.I decided to register with the secretary of state and formally start my business this year, as it seems the time to run with this idea. I pick about 20 varieties of gourmet edibles and will be doing medicinal mushrooms this year as well. (though all mushrooms have a medicinal value) I have excellent references with regards to the quality of my mushrooms and I am an Environmental Science major with a deep concern for our natural resources.
