Our family, third generation farmers, has lived in rural Chariton County, Missouri, for most of our lives. We grew up choring with and learning from our parents and grandparents. We now raise Katahdin sheep for their meat, using native prairie grass, pasture and whole grains to finish.
We have a number of raw fleeces from the Corriedale, Romney and Shetland sheep we used to raise. We also have roving, hand-spun yarn from our woolies, as well as many other woven items (rag rugs from recycled materials, cotton towels, table decor, etc.) from our weaving studio. Lessons on the looms or spinning wheels are available, as well as studio time for you to create your own heirloom.
