Our pork and beef is all natural, with no antibiotics, growth promotants or hormones used. Our beef are a Charolais/Angus cross. Our bull and cows are on pasture and additionally fed hay. The calves, once weaned, get fed hay and a corn & bean meal feed mix . The hay we raise ourselves and no spraying of insecticides or herbicides are used on it. We also raise the corn and soybeans and use only conventional seed. NO GMO seed whatsoever. We then extrude our soybeans to make our own bean meal so no nutrients are lost in that process. They also have grass available to them as well. So they pick and choose what they want through the day. Our hogs are the Berkshire breed. They get feed which consists of the corn, bean meal and a hog premix. The premix used has no medication in it only vitamins and minerals. So again they are not getting anything that is bad for them.
Our philosophy is that food should taste good but also be good for you.
