Slow Food Farm is a small, family owned farm just outside of Austin. Pastured poultry is the farm's speciality and is offered year round, however beef, pork, and rabbit are available seasonally. The farm is actively pursuing organic certification and currently uses organic practices only, including feeding those animals requiring supplementation feed from the local, Certified Organic feed mill, Coyote Creek.
All animals are raised in accordance with their species requirements, fed diets natural to them and treated with compassion and respect. Chickens are processed on-farm only and always handled by owners Harry and Jennifer Huf personally.
We have a policy of transparency, so we encourage first time patrons to visit the farm personally.
