Otter Creek Acres

Otter Creek Acres is a small 11 acre family farm in New Bern, NC. We raise pastured pork and poultry.

We believe in giving our animals the most natural life possible. Our pigs are raised in the Croatan woods and have 24/7 access to fresh water, non-GMO food and all the nuts, vegetation and bugs they can find. They spend their days rooting and wallowing in the mud, as pigs should.

Our chickens are raised in the same manner. They spend their first few weeks in the brooder then are upgraded to their movable outdoor coop. They forage for bugs in the green grass and are moved every few days to allow them to explore new vegetation. Of course they are also given unlimited access to fresh water and non-GMO food.

We will be selling our pork & poultry locally at the New Bern farmers market and other local stores/events. Please see our Facebook page for information on how to purchase our meat, or if you have any questions for us! Our farm is on our private residence so we do not offer farm tours at this time.
