We are a small family farm striving for self-sufficiency. In addition to large vegetable gardens, fruit trees and bushes we raise sheep for both meat and wool. We have two alpacas and an Angora rabbit for fiber as well. Approximately 35 chickens supply us and others with fresh eggs. The entire farm is watched over by Umo, our guard llama.
We participate in Maine Open Farm Day every July, where we hold demonstrations on spinning wool and bee hive care. We have a sugar shack and produce 5-8 gallons of Maple Syrup which is available for sale year round.
We wholesale herbs, microgreens and edible flowers to local restaurants as well as wild-foraged mushrooms when in season.
We enjoy having families tour our farm, showing people how to produce much of their own foods organically and with a smile!
