WellHouse

WellHouse is a housing first model for homeless. We buy vacant homes, remodel them, get them back up to code, and move our neighbors off the streets and into low income housing. On top of that, we also grow food at each of our homes, and have a quarter acre Urban Farm. Some of the homes only have a few raised beds, while others have full on gardens, and the Urban Farm is intended to be our high-production area. We grow the food to help feed the local community. We are located in what is known as a 'food desert". We feel that access to healthy food should be a human right.
