West Branch Elderberries

In 2015, we, West Branch Elderberries, began with a vision to revitalize and regenerate about 16 acres of conventional crop land, mostly, outside of Orange City, Iowa. We were set on growing organic elderberries because of the upcoming research and promise of their capacity for healing and wellness.
We began with our family and our friends by our side, creating a community that cares for and hand-picks our berries at their peak freshness. With community still at our center, we stay focused and driven on growing and producing the most nutrient-dense, healthful berry in the great U.S.A.

As a certified organic farm, we're proud to utilize organic and mindful inputs and practices that support our berries and our process, leaving our berries clean as Mother intended. Regenerative practices not only ensure the best elderberry, but also ensure we're adding to soil health, animal habitats, and cleaner air and water. We do all growing, processing, and shipping right here on our farm, giving you the freshest berry you can find. After selling our elderberries exclusively in bulk and wholesale markets, 2020 brought us a new opportunity to turn our organic berries into a line of finished wellness products.

Our new line of elderberry goods, all tasty and nutritious, are now available for purchase! Our most popular good, an organic elderberry tonic, similar to the rather infamous elderberry syrup, is perfect taken by the spoonful or mixed in your favorite drinks daily or as needed. Our organic elderberry DIY Kit allows you to cook up your own version of our elderberry tonic or syrup, adding your favorite sweeteners (or omitting altogether). We also have our steady and constant elderberry jam, that makes anything just a little more exciting.
