We focus on sustainable and regenerative farming practices that improve soil health and vitality and lead to genuine stewardship of biodiversity on the land. The health (and taste) of the meat grown comes directly from the pastures and feed the animals have access to. It is an approach that speaks to "beyond organic," biodiversity, sustainability, ecology, and overall environmental responsibility. We believe in producing clean food that does not travel great distances; food where the consumer has a more personal relationship with the producer. This leads to a food system that allows a region to bolster its own economy, while simultaneously having a direct link to the stewardship of the local ecology and environment.
Organic certification is good but we feel there is something more. We would much prefer you to come on out and give us the "you certified" - we're working hard to develop this system and love to show it off!
During your visit you'll have a chance to check out our Irish Dexter cattle, Polypay/Texel sheep, Myotonic goats, Kiko goats, Savanna goats, Tamworth hogs, Meishan hogs, Muscovy ducks, Bielefelder chickens, Maremma Sheepdogs.
