A maple syrup, beef and cheese farm located in central Vermont. The Luce family's third generation taps about 6,000 maple trees on our property and makes syrup the old fashioned way with a wood burning fire and collection with both draft horses and buckets and the newer maple tubing. We sell hard to find grades of syrup such as Vermont Fancy and Vermont Grade B ( extra bold robust flavor great for cooking) as well as the Grade A Mediuim and Grade A Dark Amber. Local cheeses are either Hickory and Maple Naturally smoked or aged to super sharp ages like 3 to 6 years old.
The farm is open year round for visitors with free admission and free samples of up to 15 varities of cheese and the different grades of syrup, as well as a large tasting table of local Vermont jams, mustards, honeys and spreads. Shiping is available either to visitors or through the catalog and on line store. During the summer and fall months a nature walk shows folks the maple woods and farm animals are nearby for petting.
