Spruill Bros. provides fresh, quality meat from humanely raised livestock. Spruill Bros. Pastured Meats is located in Bertie County, NC, southeast of the town of Windsor, NC on the historic "Jacock's Landing" farm along the Cashie River about a mile up river from the Sans Souci ferry. Spruill Bros. raises Berkshire, Tamworth, and Ossabaw Island hogs along with grass fed/grass finished Belted Galloway beef, and grass fed/grass finished Katahdin/Dorper cross lamb. Our animals are content, healthy and raised without antibiotics or hormones. Our beef and lamb are 100% grass fed and grass finished. The feed used to finish off our non-ruminant animals (hogs) contains no animal proteins or by products. We are planting our own NON GMO feed corn by Blue River Organics for the 2014 season as an added treat for our hogs, chickens, and turkeys. Our meat is processed by a USDA inspected facility and sold by the cut, half, or whole carcass in vacuum sealed packs.
