At St. Croix Farm, a third-generation family farm run by the Moore family, we use regenerative practices to nourish our animals, our environment and our customers. Our cattle and chickens live outside, harvesting the fresh air and sunshine, naturally fertilizing and enriching the soil, growing healthy, delicious food. Being good stewards of the land is a serious commitment that helps us grow better relationships with the people who trust us to grow their food. Products are available for pickup at our farm so you can see where your food actually comes from!
We partner with our neighbor RuBen Hill Farm to offer you pork and lamb that are produced the same way. Both farms are conserved, ensuring that they will never be developed or paved over.
Our land and our animals are cared for using ethical and organic (but not certified) practices. Cattle are pasture-fed and finished without grain, rotationally grazed throughout the growing season and fed stored forages during the winter. Chickens and hogs, raised from Spring through Fall, are pastured and supplemented with local grain as needed to provide proper nourishment. No growth hormones or antibiotics are used. Smoked meats are nitrate-free.
We genuinely appreciate our customers' support of local agriculture - you make a difference! Individual sales of our products are welcomed year-round, as well as farm share memberships. A complete list of products is available on our website www.stcroixfarm.net - sign up for our newsletter to be kept informed about what's happening on the farm.
