Stonecrest Farm

Stonecrest Farm is nestled in the middle of Montcalm County near the county seat. This small family farm is offering a Fill Your Freezer CSA this year. This is different from the CSA format with which most folks are familiar. Instead of a summer full of weekly veggies, our CSA is designed to fill your freezer for the winter. We offer beef, pork, chicken, and turkey as well as sweet corn and green beans for freezing. Our grass-fed beef are Angus, Shorthorn, and Hereford cross cattle. They do not receive grain, growth hormones, or steroids. Our pastured pork are a cross of Tamworth, Yorkshire, and Berkshire. They do NOT produce the other white meat. Instead, breeding, non-GMO feed, and rooting out a variety of greens results in a product that is as red as beef. We also raise Cornish Cross broilers and White Broad Breasted turkeys on pasture by using chicken tractors. With our CSA, you are not required to purchase every type of meat, but just those that fit your family's needs.
