Hullo there!

We are a no-till, no-chemical, regenerative garden with permaculture applications. The goal of the garden is to train our bioregional community how to grow food, dye, fiber, and medicine! We do ask for a donation to participate in our Garden Trainings, but our "garden hangs" are free. :)

The garden is communal and volunteer-managed, vegetables are sold at our market stand on a sliding scale based upon financial standing. All proceeds go 100% back into our nonprofit's mission. We also host community cooking events where the public can learn how to cook world cuisine with our garden's ingredients, and of course, eat the delicious resulting meal.

We are an heirloom-only garden because we have a goal of being self-reliant for our seed needs and to slowly create DuPage-adapted varieties of food growing plants with our Sustain DuPage Seed Cache. We are also a resource for seeds and seed saving culture.

Please make sure to email ahead to schedule a visit so we can prepare for your participation! See you in the gahhhhhhhden. :)
