Sustainable Connections

The Food & Farming program supports new farmers, connects eaters and food buyers to local farms and fishers and is a resource for building a sustainable local food economy. We are the home of the Eat Local First campaign,and the successful beginning farmer business and mentor program, Food to Bank On project. The Food & Farming program publishes the Whatcom County Food & Farm Finder, the comprehensive guide and map for all things local and delicious. We also host the Whatcom County Farm Tour, a free family friendly adventure, among other delicious food & farm events for September Eat Local Month.
