We see ourselves as stewards of the land and desire to maintain its use for agricultural production. Sustainability is important to us, and we use holistic management with crops and livestock, management intensive grazing, no-till methods, and cover crops to care for the land. We aim to utilize the farm to create healthy food and healthy communities from the ground up.

Chuck Roast
1 chuck or arm roast, 6-8 ounces per person being served (2 lbs should serve 4 people)
1 medium potato per person cut into 1 inch cubes (any kind will work)
1 carrot for each person, cut into sticks or 1 inch rounds, or 3-4 baby carrots per person
A quarter to half onion per person, optional
Salt and pepper or other seasoning you enjoy
Place vegetables in the bottom of buttered roaster or crockpot. Place roast on top and season with salt and pepper. Flip the roast over and season the other side. Cover and bake at 275 degrees F for 30 minutes per pound or cook on low for 8-10 hours. Carve the roast and serve with the vegetables. The juices make very nice gravy, if desired, or soup base for later. Leftovers are fabulous!
