We are a small family farm located just north of Hillsborough. We raise meat and dairy goats, laying chickens, and grow some produce. We are not a licensed dairy but we use our goats' milk to make all-natural soaps and shampoos with organic base oils. You can find us at the Hillsborough Farmers' Market or the Southern Village Farmers' Market in Chapel Hill where we sell goat meat, eggs, soap, shampoo, lip balms and body butters, and jams and jellies made solely from ingredients that are either grown by local producers who do not use synthetic chemicals, or are certified organic (many of the ingredients grow on our farm). Our animals eat unsprayed browse and locally-milled organic feed. We use complementary medicine and organic-approved de-wormers unless an animal is seriously ill, in which case we resort to whatever is most likely to save its life. We do not use any synthetic pesticides or herbicides, and we don't buy ingredients from anyone who does.
