Sweet Grass Pastures

At Sweet Grass Pastures we consider ourselves farmers of the soil. Our goal is to have a healthy living breathing soil full of microorganisms and worms. These organisms are responsible for keeping healthy nutrients available for the grass and healthy grasses make healthy livestock. We do this by "rotational grazing" or rotating our animals. The movement of the animals mimics mother nature and assures that the nutrients the animals eat from the grasses are spread back onto the pasture in an organized way. Our Animals The animals here at Sweet Grass Pastures are raised 100% antibiotic, vaccine, and steroid free. We also believe that an animal that lives as mother nature intended will always produce the healthiest best tasting product. That is why all of our chickens, and pigs are raised naturally outside without confinement. We specialize in pastured poultry and pastured/woodlot pork. We also partner with local farms and deliver products biweekly to our surrounding cities through our buying club. See our website for more information.
