The Swier Family Farm is a small, family farm located in Remus, Michigan. We have farmed organically since 2003. All the food and flowers are grown by us on our farm. We deliver to central drop-off locations. We offer vegetable, mushroom, garlic, pork, egg, and honey shares. This CSA brings you and us, the farm and the food, together. You support stewardship of the farm and food when you buy a share of the upcoming harvest. As partners in community and agriculture, we pledge to share the benefits of abundance and the risks of failure. We will all do our best to nurture this CSA this season.

For 18 weeks, June through September, you receive a 5-20+ pound assortment of fresh vegetables and limited flowers. This is approximately 1-3+ grocery bags worth. The quantity and variety will vary seasonally. We deliver your produce to central drop-off locations, or you can pick up at the farm.

Your Veggie CSA Harvest Plan

  • Early Season: spinach, salad mix, cooking greens, head lettuce, broccoli, chard, kale, carrots, arugula, beets, radishes, green onions, snow peas, & sugar-snap peas.
  • Mid-Season: green beans, basil, tomatoes, garlic, spinach, zucchini, salad mix, cooking greens, broccoli, chard, kale, head lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, summer squash, onions & mixed herbs.
  • Late Garden: garlic, tomatoes, chinese cabbage, onions, kohlrabi, spinach, hot and sweet peppers, salad mix, cooking greens, broccoli, chard, kale, carrots, beets, eggplant, onions, winter squash & sunflowers.

    • You receive a weekly update with farm notes and helpful recipes for your seasonal foods.

    You are invited to a garlic harvest party in late July or early August. You are always welcome to come see your food growing or help out!
