Tally Hollow Farm was started in 2003 by Sustaining Greene County, a non profit organization whose mission is to promote agriculture and forestry as economic development. Tally Hollow is the only full time sustainable agriculture and forestry demonstration farm in Greene County, PA. Located just north of the Mason-Dixon, Tally Hollow Farm incorporates traditional Appalachian/Greene County farming practices in order to minimize our impact on the environment while maximizing profits. Currently our poultry breeds of choice are Cornish Jumbo Rocks, a fast maturing meat bird; and White Plymouth Rocks, a old favorite dual purpose (meat/eggs) bird. We also sponsor a number of on farm field days and routinely host producer and student groups...please contact us for appointments, tours, or to suggest a field day topic.
