The Alleman Apiary is a family-run apiary in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with more than 10 years of beekeeping in Central PA. We produce raw, local, unfiltered honey from our own hives: spring wildflower, summer and fall honey, plus cut comb and chunk honey. We also make small batches of handcrafted products from our own beeswax and propolis.

You can buy our honey at our self-serve farm stand at 3502 High St., Harrisburg, PA 17109, open dawn to dusk (closed in snow and rain). You can also call or text to arrange a pickup.

Each spring we sell locally raised nucleus colonies (nucs) and Pennsylvania-bred queens from northern-bred, overwintered survivor stock, for pickup by appointment. We offer beekeeping mentorship for new and developing beekeepers, and we help teach the Capital Area Beekeepers Association short course.

We also do live honey bee removal from walls, soffits, chimneys and trees, and free swarm collection around Harrisburg. Bees are relocated to our apiaries, never exterminated.
