Since our CSA sells shares of individual items separately, you are never obligated to support the items you don't use or don't want. In this way, our community has a voice in what is grown, and our family places time and effort where it is best spent.
Of course, variety is the spice of life, so we may tuck in some extras from time to time, just for fun.
