WE DO NOT PUT OUR HENS UNDER ARTIFICIAL LIGHTS, SO THEY NATURALLY LAY EGGS WITH THE LONGER DAYS IN THE SPRING AND SUMMER ONLY. PLEASE CHECK BACK WITH US NEXT SPRING WHEN THE DAYS GET LONGER AGAIN. We are a very small hobby farm with 11 chickens who lay yummy brown eggs. Our hens are raised locally as free-range and completely cage-free birds with an open-door coop allowing them to forage freely on grass and insects. They are fed a vegetarian diet with no hormones or animal by-products. Their feed is enhanced with flaxseed for Omega-3 rich eggs. Your brown eggs are packed in plastic, reusable and recyclable cartons made from 100% post-consumer recycled PET bottles. As we have a small flock, quantities are very limited.
