Our land has been stewarded by sustainable agriculture for 63 years, and we have finished grassfed beef cattle on our pastures since 2008. In 2012, we took the first steps toward becoming a cow-calf operation, starting to breed our heifers with a registered Junior Longhorn bull. We will continue to purchase steers from local range-based cow-calf ranches to supplement our herd until it is self-sufficient.
We sell our grassfed beef online, at weekly farmers' markets, in person at the Ranch, and also offer limited delivery options. Our Grassfed beef is dry-aged for 14 days, then frozen, and is available by single cut or bulk variety-pack.
We use Holistic Management, a system of visioning, decision making, and land management that ensures our actions will be sustainable ecologically, socially, and economically. Our motto is "blessing the earth, nourishing the people." Education and community building are vital principles in our work and our internship program gives people the opportunity to learn about sustainability and experience their own connection with the land.
