Spring is coming and it's time to sign up for the Spring/summer CSA program. This winter has been very hard but we're expecting a good crop for the spring and summer. This year there is more land in production, as well as more equipment that will allow considerably more growth than in the past.
This CSA session will run from April 17 to August 14 for a total of 18 weeks. The pickup location will be the Covington Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8am - 12pm.
There are two payment options:
- Option 1: 2 payments of $225 with the first payment due by april 1 and the second due on may 1.
- Option 2: 1 payment of $400 due april 1 ( $50 savings)
Here is a short list of crops that will be grown during the season: lettuce, arrugula, kale, turnips, carrots, tatsoi, mizuna, salad mix, radishes, potatoes, green beens, dried beans, blackeyed peas, tomatoes, cucumber, squash/zucchini, peppers, eggplant, garlic, onions, okra, basil, rosemary, lemon grass, melons, and sprouts will be a new addition to the menu.
