The Happy Goat is located in the Cowichan Valley, BC, Canada. We left city life in 2010 to make the farm our home. Our 7 acres of land is home to 75 goats (and counting!), many chickens, 3 cats, and 1 dog. In Summer 2014 we began our first year of farmstead goat cheese production. We hand craft each of our cheeses in small batches using only fresh, raw milk from our own herd of dairy goats. Every step of the cheese making process is completed by hand. Aged, hard cheeses with a natural rind are our specialty. We also produce seasonal products including pastured poultry and eggs, and garlic.
