The Homestead's CSA farm offers a wide variety of seasonally available fresh fruits and vegetables to our members over the course of a twenty week growing season. The season generally runs mid April to the end September. During the CSA season members are treated to many of their favorite garden staples such as onions, tomatoes and peppers along with a smattering of not so common foods like leeks and kohlrabi. The eclectic mix of the familiar and the "out of the ordinary" gives members the opportunity to expand their experiences with fresh foods and to discover exiting new flavors. With the large mixture of crops being grown and the multiple varieties of each crop, anyone with an interest in fresh, locally grown foods will find much to love in our shares.
