We have 30 'girls' producing colorful nutrient-rich eggs based chiefly on their diet of clover, grasses, herbs and bugs supplemented by either organic or non-GMO feed.
We pride ourselves first on the happiness of the hens and the natural environment in which they live, and secondly on the delicious, nutritious richness of their eggs. Our customers are chefs, foodies, and locovores. As a small scale operation we exist primarily as a way of ensuring the humanity of one of our food inputs and sharing this joy with others.
Due to the generous land/chicken ratio, eggs are produced in limited quantities (by the dozen) and are available for pickup at the farm by appointment in far East Dallas. (Pre-planning is highly recommended due to fluctuating availability.)
