The Meat Market

A nose-to-tail butcher shop and cafe specializing in fresh local pasture raised meats cut to order as well house-made charcuterie. The Meat Market is a locally-sourced, nose-to-tail butcher shop and cafe located in Great Barrington, MA. We work with local farmers to fill the case with pasture-raised beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. In addition to American and European cuts in the butcher's case, we specialize in custom cuts to order. We have a large selection of house-made charcuterie and cured meats, including pates, fresh sausages, bacon, confit, and a variety of dry-cured sausages. Seasonally inspired dishes are served out of the cafe all day, with an ever-changing selection of specials and the larder is always stocked with frozen-prepared foods, local produce and pantry items.
