CSA: The Tart Farm

The Tart Farm herd share works much like a CSA, but instead of receiving vegetables, members purchase a share in our small dairy goat herd. Membership is $55 per month year-round, which keeps your herd share active and reserves your place for the next milking season. During the seasonal milking period, each full share provides approximately one-half gallon of fresh goat milk per week, depending on the natural production of the herd. Although milk is not distributed during the goats’ winter dry period, monthly membership continues to support their feed, housing, veterinary care, and year-round upkeep. Shares are limited so we can provide attentive animal care, consistent service, and a personal connection between members and the farm.
