Thrivin' Hives Bee Farm is a new and growing, commercial bee farm that opened for business this year in Roaring River, NC. We utilize and promote sustainable and natural beekeeping methods, including integrative pest management, to maintain robust, healthy and thriving hives.
We ship Naturally Mated Queen Bees nationwide. Our North Carolina Honeybees are locally produced and naturally mated, right here in the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We sale 5 Frame Nucs (Nucleus Hives), Mated Queens and Raw Unfiltered Honey, right off the bee farm.
We have an exceptional line of Italian and Carniolan hybrid honeybees. Our Italian and Carniolan Breeder Queens are hand selected from a strong survivor stock each year. Thrivin' Hives' Mated Queens produce lots of brood, that overwinter strong and make lots of honey.
