Verdant Hills Farm

We are the Butler Family. We operate our small family farm on 80 acres nestled in an idyllic valley in McMinnville, Oregon. Using sustainable, natural methods WITHOUT GMOs, herbicides, pesticides, or synthetics, we nurture our small herd of 100 % grass-fed Angus cattle and our small flock of pastured chickens for eggs and meat. All our animals lead happy lives and are humanely raised by us on pasture with weather permitting. We practice intensive rotational grazing and harvest our own haylage to ensure the highest quality feed for our cattle. We limit our herd size so we can sustainably feed our cattle exclusively from our own pastures. We also grow produce and tend our newly planted orchard filled with heritage cherries, apples, pears and prunes trees without any pesticides, herbicides, or synthetics. We are proud to sell our grass-fed beef, eggs, broilers, and produce directly to our customers. We want to meet the people who will eat our food and think people should have the ability to visit the farm where their meat is raised and food is grown.
