Our family farm raises sheep for lamb meat. Our sheep are exclusively grass-fed and unmedicated. We raise them in the most natural way possible. Our lambs nurse on their mommas until they're about 8 months old. They are humanely slaughtered at about 11 months old. All of our customers buy from us year after year. They all say that our lamb meat does not have the after-taste that store-bought lamb has.
We require that you purchase a whole lamb when you order from us, and you tell us exactly how you want your cuts. 1 lamb normally yields about 30 lbs of meat, and we charge $300.
We also raise produce in the summer, fertilized with composted sheep manure, and never sprayed with any chemicals. We sell our produce to Sidewall Pizza and Swamp Rabbit Cafe.
