University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Master Food Preserver volunteers are trained to help residents of Orange County become proficient at preserving food and food safety. Using a variety of activities such as workshops, lectures and a helpline, these volunteers answer questions about home food preservation methods such as canning, freezing and dehydrating using scientific research based information.
