We produce purebred Katahdin and commercial Katahdin hair sheep. Katahdins are hardy, adaptable, low maintenance sheep that produce superior lamb crops and lean, meaty carcasses. They do not produce a fleece and therefore do not require shearing. They are medium-sized and efficient, bred for utility and for production in a variety of management systems. In the fall of 2012 we moved our operation from Walla Walla to Lostine Oregon with 124 ewes. We plan on increasing our ewe flock to 350 over the next 2 years. All of our lambs are born on pasture and 100% grass fed. The majority of our lambs are sold to specialty meat processors. We do have some lambs available for starter flocks each fall.
