Our farm is nestled in the valleys of the township of Clyde and is part of a former dairy farm and Wisconsin homestead. Most of the property is wooded and the remainder is pasture with some cropland. We sell basket willow, wild black cap raspberries, walnuts, morels, Spanish Mustang Horses and insulated window coverings constructed from locally harvested, sustainably managed woods. Spanish Mustang horses are heritage horses that are closely related to the horses brought to the Americas by the Spanish colonists starting in 1493. Later Native Americans adopted the breed and they became known as Indian Ponies. The U. S. government attempted to exterminate the breed. The breed is considered endangered by the American Livestock Breed Conservancy. Farm visits by appointment are possible. We are preparing to open a B & B in 2010.
