Virescence

Virescence specializes in chili peppers, ranging from serranos using "old world" genetics to the scorching Bhut/Bih Jolokia Ghost peppers and Scorpion peppers. All have been selectively bred to perform in the mid-Atlantic region. The chilis are grown using a specialized in-ground system that allows for precise manipulation of field moisture levels in the root zone. This allows for disease-free chili plants that receive proper moderate to arid levels of moisture during fruiting, allowing for tastier and hotter peppers. No pesticides are ever applied to any chilis! We ship FRESH peppers of several different varieties when they are in season. All shipping is done by USPS Priority or UPS, depending on customer location.
