Irene's Happy Hens

Welcome to Irene's Happy Hens. We are backyard chicken farmers whose love for chickens has turned into a small egg farm. We currently have 28 laying hens. They are producing an abundance of delicious eggs. We have Marans, Ameraucanas, Red Stars, a Jersey Giant, Rhodebars, Cream Legbars, Bielefelders, Delawares, Rhode Island Whites and even a bantams. Our ladies roam in a very large fenced, wooded area. They eat worms, bugs, weeds, garden scraps in addition to their layer feed. They are fed organic feed from Reedy Fork Farms and Countryside Organics plus added sea kelp, probiotics, and fresh or dried home grown herbs. Please visit our Facebook page for pictures.
