Here at Orem Farms, we raise steer calves using locally raised/cut hay and grain. Our calves enjoy life in a pasture, not locked up in some meat processing facility where they cannot move for a majority of their lives. Our calves live a life of peace and relaxation that only helps the meat have more flavor. We don't give our animals any additives to make them grow faster as this tends to take away from the natural flavor of our beef. Most of the hay that we feed to our calves comes right from our farm. We are proud of what we raise and we believe our customers will not only enjoy the experience of working with us, but will continue to come back to us for their freezer beef needs for years to come. Pound per pound, we believe our beef will exceed the standards our customers demand for the taste and value of our beef. You and your family will feel right at home working with our local butchers to receive exactly what you order. Our farm is a small farm located just west of Kokomo, IN. We are the 3rd generation to operate the farm in this location and we are proud of our heritage. My family eats the same freezer beef as your family will eat, so our standards are extremely high.
