Farmers Markets are gaining in popularity throughout small towns, and Conroe, Texas is no exception. Named after the city's founder, the Isaac Conroe Farmers Market will be held downtown at Founders Park on the corner of Metcalf and Main Street every 1st Thursday on the corner of Metcalf and Main (next to the Owen Theater) from 4:00-8:00 pm. The monthly Farmers' Market is sponsored by the Downtown Conroe Area Association.
The public is invited to browse the selection of fresh grown fruits, vegetables, spices, food trucks, and handmade products from local vendors in our area. There will also be assorted jams, jellies baked goods and salsa with bluegrass live music playing in the background. There will be new added vendors with what organizers say will be something for everyone.
