Lucky Nugget's Retirement Villa

Alpaca fleece is very soft and comfortable, makes into lovely clothes and outter wear. It is felted into hats, purses, hangings, and much much more. Alpaca farming is a sustainable form of agriculture, and alpacas are just wonderful animals to be around. We enjoy keeping alpacas and harvesting the fiber each year. We are offering: 1) fleece - To fiber artists and/or spinners of yarns, an annual alpaca fiber harvest without the cost and labor of caring for alpacas. We supply the fleece of alpacas in white, black, gray, and many natural shades of brown from small local farms. 2) alpacas - Interested in becoming an alpaca fiber farmer and wish to start small, we can offer the opportunity to begin raising fiber alpacas inexpensively with support, guidance, and community.
