Trombly Gardens was born out of Sunny Prairie Farm which started with 4 cows and 500 chickens in 1950. The farm started as a chicken farm that was then converted into a 400 cow dairy farm and in 2000 the transition was made to change to a produce and beef farm with a seasonal farm stand and greenhouses. The farm consists of 150 acres and we also farm 200+ more acres.

Trombly Gardens farm stand has something for every season and no matter what the season we always have our own farm raised beef and pork, as well as eggs, local milk and ice cream.

Springtime at Trombly Gardens is like Christmas for every type of gardener; our greenhouses are full of annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants. We also offer bagged soil, hanging plants and can customize your window boxes. We are busy planting the fields in anticipation of the summer months that will provide a beautiful array of fresh produce.
Strawberries are the start of summer fun! Buy them already picked. Summertime is finally in full swing and we are in harvest of summer squash, zucchini, patty pan, peppers, & cucumbers, to name a few. Then we wait for the first Tomato and the first ear of Sweet Corn - the true indication that Summer has arrived. Summer also brings the Fresh Cut Flower garden, pick your own or let us make you a beautiful bouquet. We are busy at the farm stand as well as at the local Farmers' Markets. As the summer winds down and the kids are getting ready to head back to school.
We move into Fall; when fun fall activities happen at the farm! The Corn Maze and hay rides are always a big hit. The pumpkin festival and the night time corn maze also bring families out to the farm.

Still picking sweet corn until the end of October - LIFE IS GOOD!

Our new and improved farm stand is now open all year round!
