The Warren Wilson College Garden consists of three acres of organically raised crops, including vegetables, fruits, cut flowers, and herbs. It also includes a one-acre apple orchard and a small apiary. We grow the entire spectrum of vegetables and some fruits during all four seasons. Over the summer, Warren Wilson College students run a Community Supported Agriculture program that deepens the skills developed throughout the academic year. CSA members receive 7 lbs. of Warren Wilson grown fruits and vegetables each week, with the responsibilities for the program resting on the shoulders of current students.
We are a student-run, uncertified organic producer of fruits, vegetables, and herbs in the Swannanoa Valley. We are committed to providing the community with sustainably grown food.
