After a life of cooking in restaurants in the USA and Ireland as well as teaching English in Turkey and South Korea, I have found myself looking to live a simpler life still largely revolving around the food I eat.
I raise heritage breed pork on pasture and supplemented with non-GMO feed. We also raise chickens for both meat and eggs and have a substantial garden for seasonal vegetables.
We supplement our free-range animals with a diet of locally sourced non-GMO feed. In the garden we believe in building soil health to supplement our human health. That is to say that our only garden additive is our own homemade compost.
