Dakota Harvest Farms raises Dorper lambs in a natural environment. Dorpers are a hair sheep rather than wool, Dorpers were bred solely for the quality of its meat and their abiltiy to forage. We have just completed our first year of transitioning to become certified organinc. All of our lambs are born and raised naturally with their mothers on our pastures so we can guarantee that theyre healthy. They spend their time on pastures getting plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and clean water as they roam. In the winter months, they are fed alfalfa hay also grown on our farm
We dont administer growth hormones or antibiotics. We do not feed any animal byproducts. The sheep are fed no grain, no chance of eating GMO grain.
