This business is a part of a 35 year old intentional community in rural Appalachia. The flowers, their roots, bulbs, and seeds, have been collected from womens gardens across the Appalachian frontier.
Planting these is like drawing a mantra in your ground. You'll think of the woman, maybe a girl when she first planted them in the century before last. Each order includes the story of the woman whose they were.
The website offers yesteryears flowers for blooming off into the future. Read about them and you'll know.

Heirloom flowers from the century before last. Plant them now and some one will wonder some day who you were. They've lasted so long, they're still here because they're deerproof and hardy. You'll see.
