VertiGrow Farms

VertiGrow Farms is an urban farming organization dedicated to educating young, disadvantaged, and beginning farmers in the implementation and utilization of technology based farming techniques. Technology based farming is a fledgling industry that uses unconventional spaces combined with technology to grow fruits, produce, herbs, and other plants. Our goal is to provide safe, healthy, locally grown and sourced foods to food banks, charity food organizations, and local school systems while simultaneously educating the public on the process of converting vacant and non-useable urban land blocks into high yield farming zones. Our organization is an outlet and a resource to community members with ADD, ADHD, PTSD, Asperger's Syndrome and Autism. VertiGrow Farms is a place where those who suffer from these illnesses can be productive, and participate in activities that provide therapeutic value. We strive to operate our farms in a way that allows children and adults the ability to overcome academic, social, and emotional difficulties so they may reach their full potential by providing them with the opportunity and necessary tools to help achieve excellence in all facets of their lives. VertiGrow Farms is a not for profit organization (we are currently pursuing our 501(c)3 status) that utilizes all monies generated, and donated to maintain and continue it�¢ï¿½?�?s endeavors in these pursuits.
