Select Seeds

Select Seeds is a small, family-owned business, located on 50 acres of mostly forest that is enrolled in the USDA Forest Stewardship program. Our gardens and greenhouse are just steps outside our door, just like many farm-based businesses. We are located in Union CT, part of The Last Green Valley, a National Heritage Corridor of 35 towns working locally to preserve the irreplaceable land, water, and cultural resources of the region. We have been growing heirloom and open-pollinated flower seeds here for 25 years now! We also import flower seeds from European seed houses. We grow all of our plants in our greenhouse, grown under integrated pest management, exclusively using botanical- based insect controls. We are expanding into vegetable seed varieties and hope to introduce more rare annual flower seed varieties soon.
