Blue Dirt Farm

Our pride and joy here at Blue Dirt Farm is pastured organic heritage breed pork! We have pigs that are a blend of Mangalitsa, Large Black, and Tamworth. These happy little piggies spend all their time outside grazing, and develop a wooly coat that keeps them warm in the winter. Pastured cattle are also growing up on the farm in limited quantities. Our livestock are also given supplemental organic feed from local sources when needed. Heritage breed poultry and waterfowl are wonderful to watch! Khaki Campbell ducks are kept for eggs and their mighty bug eating skills. There is a small flock of New Hampshire Red chickens, and a gaggle of geese for meat and eggs that keep the weeds at bay.
