We are a local farm that produces super premium duck eggs, and more to come as we expand our homesteading efforts. We want to truly know our customers and know that we are feeding them and their children the highest quality product possible. Our birds are fed the highest quality feed available in our area, Texas Naturals (read more about their excellent feed at http://www.texasnaturalfeeds.com/). They are allowed to free range on a wonderful grass and clover mix, all day until they are penned up safely each evening. Frankly they are spoiled ducks that live a carefree happy life very few people could dream of and that is what it takes to product a product of this quality. Ducks eggs are much higher in nutritional value than chicken eggs (especially store bought eggs) and can often be eaten safely by those who have chicken egg allergies. The birds are confined indoors and never eat a real natural diet. Our ducks are on pasture daily, they eat seeds, weeds and insects. They take baths, they warm themselves in sun and take naps in shade, in fact we welcome you to come bring your children and see our spoiled birds. Our birds are part of a holistic system that is being used to restore the health of the land we manage. So much so that they now produce a surplus of the healthiest eggs you and your family can find in our area. We hope to offer more products in this manner in the future (fruits and vegetables, quail eggs, and perhaps local honey) as well as seasonal items like turkey or goose eggs, pastured poultry meats, etc.
